Miles joined MP&F in 1995, after careers in journalism and politics. He has put those talents to work for a wide array of clients, including Wal-Mart, Tennessee Bankers Association, FirstBank, U.S. Dept. of Labor Job Corps program, Dell Computer and Pre-K Now. He also coordinates MP&F’s information technology initiative, which provides clients with on-ground support for IT issues, and built the company's first Web site. Miles served eight years as press secretary and state coordinator for former U.S. Senator Jim Sasser. Prior to joining Sasser’s staff, Miles worked at various newspapers, including the Nashville Banner, Johnson City Press, and the Kingsport Times-News. He has been a contributor to national and regional publications, including The American Banker and Southern Exposure. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and PRSA Counselor's Academy. A journalism graduate of East Tennessee State University, his specialties include technology, media relations, grassroots, multimedia, planning and public affairs.
