Dancing for Safe Haven a Huge Success

Dancing for Safe Haven Logo

The third annual Dancing for Safe Haven event was a smashing success, bringing its largest crowd ever and raising more money than before to help the city’s only family homeless shelter. Titans linebacker Gerald McRath and Assistant Special teams Coach Chet Parlavecchio, as well as Titans Cheerleader Jessi Peralta, were among the dancers. Other celebrities in the event included public relations executive Deb Varallo, HCA Vice President John Steele, hair stylist Bill Vandiver, Spanish TV figure Sheyla Paz Hicks and Nashville attorney Bob Tuke.

McNeely Pigott & Fox donated graphic design, media relations and strategic planning for the event. MP&F Founding Partner Mike Pigott and his wife, Nashville architect Sharon Pigott served as event co-chairs.

Safe Haven provides families food and shelter while they learn skills needed to find a job, manage their finances and get their lives back on a good path. Children receive school assistance to keep their grades on track. Wrap-around support services and eventual transitional housing are also part of this very successful program.

The following are videos of the Titans player and coach performing. They were posted to the Titans website this week.
