MP&F Welcomes Winterim Student Claire Johnson

McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations has welcomed Claire Johnson as its 2012 Winterim student. Harpeth Hall’s Winterim program allows juniors and seniors to complete off-campus work-study programs in a career field of interest.

Johnson, a native of Nashville, Tenn., is a senior at Harpeth Hall School, serving as student government association president of her senior class. Previously, Johnson held a summer internship with U.S. Senator Bob Corker in Washington, D.C. During her internship, Johnson assisted with constituent outreach and administrative tasks.

“Our internship and job shadow opportunities provide firsthand agency experience for those interested in a public relations career,” said MP&F Partner David Fox. “We have a rigorous program that provides valuable skills in an educational setting.”

MP&F offers job shadow experiences for high school and college students. Internships are available for college juniors and seniors. Interns gain valuable experience in writing, media pitching and event planning, among other tasks, while being assigned to specific client teams.
